Your information

Privacy Policy

Effective August 13, 2026

SDCFO.Group uses the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and, only when you choose it, send marketing text messages. We do not sell personal information or share SMS consent for another company’s marketing.

Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how SDCFO.Group (“SD CFO Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information through sdcfogroup.com, including the Start Conversation form and our SMS program. It does not cover client information governed by a separate services agreement.

Information we collect

  • Contact and business information: company name, first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, and the financial topic you select.
  • Communications and preferences: messages you send us, whether you opted in to marketing texts, the consent language shown when you opted in, and any opt-out or help request.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, dates and times, and security or access logs that may be collected by our hosting and infrastructure providers.

The current Start Conversation form prepares an email in your email application. We receive the information only if you choose to send that email.

How we use information

  • Respond to your inquiry and communicate about SD CFO Group services.
  • Send recurring marketing text messages when you have expressly opted in.
  • Manage consent, help requests, and opt-outs.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and our communications.
  • Comply with law and protect our rights, users, and business.

SMS privacy

SMS marketing consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. We do not sell or rent your mobile number, SMS opt-in data, or consent, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may provide mobile information to service providers that help us operate and deliver our messaging program, but only for those services. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or using another reasonable method described in our SMS Terms.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to:

  • Service providers that support website hosting, infrastructure, email, messaging, security, and business operations.
  • Professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, and auditors.
  • Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or enforce agreements.
  • A successor or participant in a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Website technology

We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-context behavioral advertising on this site. The site uses third-party infrastructure and resources, including hosting services and Google-hosted fonts, which may receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser details.

Because we do not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change the site’s behavior. We will update this policy if those practices change.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, considering our relationship with you, operational needs, and legal obligations. We may retain consent, opt-out, suppression, security, and legal records longer when needed to demonstrate compliance, honor your choices, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

Your choices

  • Marketing texts: reply STOP, END, CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT. Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Privacy requests: email hello@sdcfogroup.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.

We may need to verify a request and may retain limited information where required by law or needed to maintain a suppression list. Where applicable law provides additional privacy rights, we will honor them and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Security and children

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

This website is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here, update its effective date, and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
